Who Is Draven Harrison?

Well, when asked to sit down and write a self biography, this
is what Draven wrote:

"Ever since I could talk I have said, that I want to race. I started in go-karting and I raced in that kind of racing for over a year. I started out in kid kart and moved up to purple plate. One day I told my Dad, "I need to go faster", so I then moved up to blue plate. Now I am racing in a series called Mini Cup. The division I am in is called Future Stars. I like this kind of racing better cause it is faster!!! My favorite Nascar driver is Jeff Gordon. I hope I can meet him one day!"

It's true ever since any of those around Draven can remember
he has always said, "I need to drive!" If it had wheels-he had
to have it.
 
 

It just so happened by fate, that Draven caught a show on T.V. which showed young boys who raced go karts. The first words out of his mouth were, "I want to do that!" So Dad began his research and Mom began praying and in 2004 a kart was purchased. Draven's first time on the track was not pretty, but from that moment on he was hooked and there was no turning back.

Draven practiced every weekend, worked hard, and became a very good driver. Dad had a lot to learn and He & Mom became Draven's pit crew. Now, a Mini Cup Car has been purchased, and the whole family is very excited as they head into a new race season.

What drives someone to want to race? I am sure that there are as many different answers to that question as there are drivers. When this question was put to Draven his answer was simply this-"I Have To."
